# Ask Navattic

> Ask questions about your workspace data and get AI-powered answers directly in the dashboard.

Ask Navattic is an AI assistant embedded in the Navattic dashboard. Use it to query your workspace data (demo performance, visitor engagement, accounts, and referrer sources) without leaving the app. You can also ask product how-to questions, and Ask Navattic will cite the relevant documentation.

## Accessing Ask Navattic

Click the **Ask** button in the top navigation bar to open the Ask Navattic sidebar. Type your question and press **Enter** or click **Send**.

<Note>
Ask Navattic is available on Starter plan and above. Contact your account manager if you don't see
the Ask button in your workspace.
</Note>

## What you can ask

Ask Navattic can answer two types of questions:

**Workspace data questions**: questions about your demos and engagement metrics, such as:

* "How many visitors viewed my product tour last month?"
* "Which demos have the highest completion rate?"
* "Show me accounts that engaged with the onboarding demo this week."
* "What are the top referrer sources for my demos?"
* "Which visitors from Acme Corp have viewed demos in the last 30 days?"
* "What's the average session length for my pricing page demo?"

**Product how-to questions**: questions about Navattic features and capabilities, such as:

* "How do I add a CTA button to a tooltip?"
* "What's the difference between a web capture and a media capture?"
* "How do I set up a personalized demo?"
* "How do I invite someone to my workspace?"

For how-to questions, Ask Navattic searches the documentation and includes links to the relevant pages in its response.

## Page-specific experience

On the **Analytics** and **Conversations** pages, Ask Navattic tailors its experience to the page you're on. The input placeholder cycles through example questions relevant to that page, giving you ideas for what to ask. Click the input or start typing to see your options.

Skills available via `/` are also scoped to the current page. Only skills relevant to Analytics appear on the Analytics page, and only skills relevant to Conversations appear on the Conversations page.

## Using skills

Skills are pre-configured playbooks set up for your workspace. They focus Ask Navattic on a specific task, such as summarizing a demo's performance or generating a prospect report.

To use a skill, type `/` in the composer. A menu appears listing the available skills relevant to the current page, each shown with its name and description. Select a skill to load it, then send your message as usual. Ask Navattic starts the conversation with that skill's context already applied.

On the **Conversations** page, two built-in skills are available:

* **Weekly summary**: summarizes agent conversation activity for the past week
* **Monthly summary**: summarizes agent conversation activity for the past month

The skills available to you depend on what has been configured for your workspace. Contact your workspace admin if you don't see any skills listed when you type `/`.

## How it works

Ask Navattic connects to your workspace using the same tools that power Navattic's external AI integrations. It reads analytics, demo browsing data, and personalization settings scoped to your workspace. It cannot access data from other workspaces.

Each conversation is maintained for the session. You can continue asking follow-up questions and Ask Navattic will reference the context from earlier in the conversation.

## What data Ask Navattic can access

Ask Navattic has read-only access to three categories of workspace data:

**Analytics**

Demo performance metrics and visitor engagement data: views, session counts, completion rates, click-through rates, and referrer sources. Ask Navattic can also surface visitor-level and account-level details. These include session history, demos viewed, and firmographic data such as company, industry, and employee count. You can filter by demo, company, location, and custom properties.

**Demo library**

Your workspace's projects, flows, and share links. Ask Navattic can describe the content and structure of any demo in your workspace and tell you which share links are configured for each project.

**Personalization**

Custom properties set up for visitor personalization.

Ask Navattic cannot access billing information, team member details, or administrative settings, and it cannot make any changes to your workspace.

## Contacting support

If Ask Navattic cannot answer your question, or if you'd prefer to speak with a person, ask to connect with the support team. For example, "Can I talk to someone?" or "I need help from a human." Ask Navattic will show a support card you can use to open a request with the Navattic team.
